The directors purchased the car this year from a funeral home in nearby Auckland. They are having it completely reconditioned for comfort and style. The reason they purchased the car is simply for nostalgia’s sake after one director recognized how much the royal family meant to his grandmother’s generation. “It struck me how much that meant to her generation,” he explained, “how they loved the royal family. My grandmother would be tickled pink to go out in something like this.”
