Falling sales in an already struggling economy can mean trouble. But in the case of GMC, it means great deals for consumers!
In order to encourage more people to buy full-size trucks and SUVs, GMC is offering huge incentives and rebates. For many 2007 and 2008 models, those rebates could be as much as $2,500! How does that sound for an incentive?
As the world’s largest automaker, GM has been trying to raise its sales figures amidst an uncertain economy. According to Steve Lowry, a sales manager at a GMC truck dealer and car dealer in Omaha, Nebraska, the new incentives “should help to drive some traffic to the showroom.” This combined with new hybrid trucks and full-sized SUVs should be a great reason for consumers to try one of these vehicles on for size.
Some models are excluded from the incentives program, though. If you are looking to buy a Hummer, a Pontiac G8 or a Corvette, you’ll likely be paying the full price without the cash rebates.
The program was designed to coincide with the Memorial Day holiday and will run until June 2. Don’t miss your chance to get a great deal on an awesome vehicle with a sizable rebate. Who knows when this type of deal will come along again?
